Turkey burgers with Guacamole
I found a similar recipe on a low cal page some time back and have been meaning to tweak and try it. I tweaked it a bit and had great results within this relatively low calorie smash burgers
Ingredients for the burgers
- 400 gm turkey mince
- 100 gm breadcrumbs
- large red onion finely chopped
- tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Red chilli
- handful or coriander chopped
- Smoked paprika
- seasoning
- Buns, we used Artisan rolls from Sainsburys
Ingredients for the Guacamole
- 2 ripe Avocado
- Juice of a big Lime
- Smoked Paprika
- A few slices of chilli
- Small onion chopped
- handful or coriander chopped
- Clove of garlic crushed
Method.
Mix the Mince, breadcrumbs, onion, paprika and Worcestershire sauce and coriander in a bowl and form in to 4 balls. These were quite large so I would say 5 or even 6 balls would work better depending on bun size. I cooked these on my Plancha with a little spay oil flipping once or twice. I lightly buttered the rolled and seared them off too.
For the coriander much up the Avocado with a fork and add all the ingredients to a bowl. Cover the bottom of each roll before adding the burger then another dollop on top. Amazing dinner.
Tips.
Could have dome with either a nice slice of beef tomato on top or some tomato salsa, I will do that next time
If you cooked this or any of my recipes then please do let me know how it went, I would love some feedback.
