Firecracker prawns

Firecracker prawns cooked on the Ninja Foodie

This is another amazing Chinese meal at home and amazing at only around 400 calories per portion.

Ingredients 4 servings

  • 400gm raw kings prawns
  • 2 red peppers sliced
  • pack of mini sweet corn chopped
  • pack of mange touts sliced
  • 5 spring onions chopped plus extra for dressing
  • 2 red chillies sliced plus extra for dressing
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 5 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • Juice of a lime
  • 1 tsp sugar or sweetener
  • 4 portions of cooked egg noodles

Ingredients to serve

  • Red sliced chilly
  • chopped spring onion

Method

Set the foodie to sear and spray the bowl with low cal cooking oil, I use Canola from Costco. Add the peppers, chilli, corn, mangetouts and spring onions and cook for 4 minutes. Add the prawns and garlic until almost cooked about 2 to 3 minutes. then add the remaining ingredients and stir through until everything is combined, Add the cooked noodles and enjoy.

Serve with the Coriander, Chilly and Spring Onion to dress.
